Mini Makeover for the Laundry/Basement

With one weekend remaining until my in-laws come to visit, I wanted to squeeze in a mini makeover of our laundry room/basement area. When we first moved into our townhouse 18 months ago, we painted every room in the house, expect the laundry room/basement and bathrooms. That said, I still want to completely paint the laundry room walls. But with limited time, we painted the built-in cabinets, replaced the closet doors (hiding the washer and dryer) and purchased some baskets for more organized storage:

Before, a washed out light blue with all our junk prominently displayed

Even half of the door trim is painted that light blue.

Removed everything and painted the cabinets Behr Swiss Coffee

AFTER:

After painting, we added $12 worth of wrapping paper from CostPlus World Market to the backs of the cabinets, white Sterilite Tall Ultra Baskets (set of 6 baskets for $19.88; 12 baskets shown here) from Walmart, and some stainless steel knobs we already owned.

We found bi-fold louvered doors on craigslist.org for $65 total.

Added lables to each basket using Painter's Tape for easy removal.
